Executive Director
Christie brings more than 30 years of award winning marketing communications, IT and project management, team leadership and 20 years of adult education to our team. In addition, she has many years of horse experience as a breeder, instructor, and trail boss, successfully managing large groups of horses and people. She attended McNeese State University with a major in zoology. |
Stephanie George
Board Chairperson
Stephanie was a 3rd level executive with AT&T with 30 years of service and was Sid Peterson Regional Medical Center’s Customer Service and Quality Improvement Resource for 10 years. Most recently, she volunteers with the Hill Country Youth Ranch in Ingram, mentoring children and working in their HCYR Auxiliary Thrift Shop. She attended University of California at Santa Barbara with a major in Sociology. |
Dan Simpson
Dan’s experience with the youth of the Hill Country encompasses 30 years of team building, youth leadership, outdoor education and sports. He has taught outdoor education and environmental leadership for Kerrville ISD, WaterValley ISD and MO Ranch. In addition he is and Advanced Firefighter and Federal HAZMAT Instructor. |

Sharon Griswold
Sharon Griswold grew up in New England and has a B.S. in Animal Science from The University of Connecticut. She is a former Seeing Eye Instructor with the Seeing Eye in Morristown, New Jersey. She trained guide dogs and taught the visually impaired students how to use them. Sharon had owned and operated her own boarding and training facility for the past twenty years. Sharon learned T Touch Therapy techniques and uses this along with her animal communication skills to help create a greated bond between owner and pet.

Nikki Theisinger
Horse Connection Programs
Nikki is a career teacher and school counselor who retired and founded the Horse Connection for developmental equine therapy. She has been on the cutting edge of equine assisted therapy since 2001 and conducts horse camps for disabled children and adults, as well as running a horse-drawn carriage business in Fredericksburg, Texas. |

Massage Therapist & Animal Wellness
With her background as a first responder, animal shelter director, and Licensed Massage Therapist, Debbie is on our team for immediate needs response for residents, animals and coordinator of ongoing wellness services. She will also offer equine and canine massage at the facility |

Prior to that, Mark earned his stripes as a news director, assistant news director, photographer and consultant with Frank N. Magid Associates. Mark snagged a number of prestigious awards, including an Emmy. Now Mark is bringing his energy, talent and know-how to Crawford, Johnson, & Northcott and its clients, including pro bono work for Littlegrass Ranch. |

Pastor Glen Aycock has been pastoring Non-denominational and Baptist churches for more than 50 years. His experience includes providing counsel to women who are victims of family violence. He holds degrees in Counseling, the Bible, Theater Arts, Human Services, Psychology and is currently working on his Masters Degree to become credentialed as a Therapist. Glen is a resident of Kerrville, Texas
